Hello Guys, So Here' my journey begins and my first station
is Taiping Railway station, which is also Malaysia's first railway
station, opened in 1885 and I think this is the best way to start my journey
and on top of all of this it is my wedding anniversary (bahut hi Shub mahurut
hai π) As I planned that I will visit each and every station by Train
but in this case it didn't worked out because my wife and son was with me
and they doesnt like train journey and then with no choice had go via
road.
Chalo ab baat karte hai travel ki jis kaam ke liye aye
hai....
We began touring Taping after arriving at our destination and
discovered that it is a tiny city with many beautiful gardens, mountains, and
lakes. I believe the entire Taiping is within a 5-kilometer radius, and all
tourist attractions are within a 10-minute drive, so it was enjoyable.
The next day, February 5th, the Day of the World by Train began with
a little nervousness and excitement. I am getting the following ideas
concerning people's thoughts.
- Yeh loo ek aur
timepass karne wala aagya.
- Lagata iske paas
bahut free time hai
- Bahut shining
maar raha hai
- Kitne aye aur
kitne gaye iske jaise
- Apne aap ko
bahut bada bloogger ya Kimi Werner & Shivya Nath (Do google to know
about these celebrity π)
I guess I am being theatrical & dramatic because I have seen a
lot of Ekta Kapoor serials. And you can blame to my mom for this. She has shown
me lot emotional serials. Now my international fans must be scratching their
heads, wondering who Ekta Kapoor is - I would suggest again do Google
After arriving at my goal - the Taping Station - I noticed that the station is very nice and clean, and it is not in the least bit familiar of Malaysia's first station, which was built in 1885. I had the impression that I was in a king's palace. The structure and architecture were classic, which I liked, and then I began praising the Malaysian government and people while blaming our Indian citizens for failing to care for our property. With the same feeling, I began looking about and conversing with those who worked at the station in order to learn more about the history or facts. Then came the biggest shock: this isn't the first station; Its is a new station which right next to old/first station. Both stations are walkable from one another. Then I started cribbing on both the governments.π
However, because both stations are next to each other, I was able to compare them, which was a fun experience. They converted the old station into a gallery, kind of a museum. I have included photos of both stations so you can see the difference. Actually, I crossed the old station on my way to the new station for taping, but I didn't stop because it look like a food street with lots of eatery shops. So, if you are going to taping a railway station, make sure you stop by the old station and eat something as well.
